How to make hand-rubbed ice powder

Ingredients: 50g ice seeds, 5g lime, 2000g boiled water

1. Put 50 grams of ice seeds into a gauze bag, then rinse it with tap water to remove dust.

2. Add 5g lime into 200g cold boiled water, stir with chopsticks to mix evenly, and let it stand for later use.

3. Put it in 1800g of boiled water and rub it repeatedly (like washing clothes). This process took me less than ten minutes. Wait until the friction of the ice seeds becomes stronger, no longer produces pulp, and the water surface is covered with foam.

Please note here that you must use boiled water. Because tap water is weakly acidic, it will affect the subsequent condensation.

4. Pour lime water into the rubbed ice powder, stir gently to mix evenly, and put it in the refrigerator for more than half an hour.

5. Put it in the refrigerator for half an hour, and the slurry will slowly solidify. After 1-2 hours, it will solidify better and become firm and elastic. Congratulations, you succeeded!

6. Add brown sugar water and your favorite ingredients, various nuts or fruits in turn.

How to make hand-rubbed ice powder

50g of ice seeds, rinse off the dust with clean water, then filter out the water and leave the ice seeds for later use.

Put the washed ice seeds into a gauze bag and tie the bag tightly.

Take a large basin and pour 1600g of cold boiled water into the basin. Soak the gauze bag containing ice seeds in cold boiled water and rub it slowly. The sticky liquid will soon overflow from the gauze until no more liquid overflows. The whole rubbing process takes about 10 minutes.

After kneading, it already looks a bit like ice jelly.

5 grams of lime.

Add 200 grams of cold boiled water and make it into lime water.

Use a sieve to filter out the ice seeds that leak out of the gauze bag, then pour the layer of clear water on the top of the settled lime water into the ice powder, stir evenly, and put it in the refrigerator for an hour.

Add water to brown sugar and simmer over low heat to make brown sugar water. If you like it sweet, add more brown sugar and less water.

Preheat the oven to 170 degrees for 5 minutes, bake the peanuts at 170 degrees for 10 minutes, peel them, and pound them.

Chop the hawthorn, remove the seeds from the watermelon and cut into cubes. Other ingredients as shown.

Take out the pre-frozen ice cubes from the refrigerator.

If you don’t have an ice crusher, just put it in a gauze bag and crush it into ice chips.

Use a large spoon to scoop out the icy powder and add all the toppings. A bowl of delicious springy ice jelly is ready.
