How to make handmade ice jelly?

In particular, ice jelly has the effects of promoting salivation and relieving summer heat, as well as cooling down and reducing internal heat. It is a must-eat snack for relieving summer heat. However, most ice jelly is mixed. What is the method and formula of handmade ice jelly?

How to make handmade ice powder

1. Prepare ice powder seeds and lime powder.

2 Take 100 grams of ice powder seeds and set aside.

3 Take 10 grams of lime powder and mix it evenly with 400 grams of cold boiled water.

4 Stir well and set aside to clarify.

5. Wrap the ice powder seeds with gauze and tie them up. Put it in about 2400 grams of cold boiled water and rub it gently for 6 minutes. (Be careful not to exceed 6 minutes, and scrub gently, slowly and evenly)

6 Pour the clarified lime water into the rubbed ice powder slurry, quickly stir it back and forth with chopsticks, and let it stand for about 1 hour until it solidifies. It tastes better after refrigerating.

7 Put the peanuts in the oven at 180 degrees for 10 minutes and roast them.

9 Add appropriate amount of water to brown sugar and boil it into brown sugar water.

How to make handmade ice powder

Dissolve the ice powder starch (available in supermarkets) in cold water first.

Bring the prepared water to a boil, do not turn off the heat, then pour in the ice powder starch water that has been dissolved in cold water in advance. Keep stirring in one direction. (Otherwise, bubbles are easily introduced)

Wait until the liquid in the pot becomes thick and slightly transparent jelly-like, then turn off the heat.

Quickly pour the viscous liquid in the pot into the prepared container

When most of the dried dough looks solidified, you can soak it in cold water to make it solidify and become chewy as quickly as possible.

Once it's all solidified, you can cut it into small pieces and eat it. For better eating effect, put it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes together with the seasoning before eating.

How to make the seasoning: Dissolve brown sugar, honey, and wolfberry in appropriate amount of boiling water (the amount of water added depends on personal taste, add less water if you like stronger flavors), let it cool and refrigerate, then mix it into ice jelly when eating.
