How to match multi-grain rice?

Cereals and grains feed millions of people in this world, and everyone's life cannot be separated from them. As the saying goes, food is the first necessity of the people. How can one live well without eating well? In daily life, a lot of people eat rice, especially our friends in the south. If they don't eat rice every day, they always feel as if they have not eaten at all. Rice can not only be steamed, but also added with some millet, red dates and other ingredients. So, how to match the multi-grain rice?

Ingredients: rice, black rice, black starch beans, brown rice, millet, sorghum rice, purple sweet potato.

1. The ratio of materials I used is 1:1 between rice and miscellaneous grains, that is, the total amount of several miscellaneous grains and beans is equal to the rice. (If there are too many whole grains, the taste will be worse, the finished rice will be less sticky, looser, and have a rougher taste. But if you don’t care about the taste, you can increase the proportion of whole grains, or even use only whole grains).

2. All kinds of grains, rice and beans can be added to rice. Just choose 4-6 kinds each time, no need to use too many.

3. You can buy a variety of coarse grains and beans in advance, and choose a few at random each time you cook, and rotate them frequently.

4. Red beans, kidney beans, coix seeds and other foods that are hard to cook need to be soaked one day in advance (put in the refrigerator), otherwise they will not be easy to cook through during the cooking process.

5. Purple sweet potatoes can be omitted and replaced with yam, sweet potato, potato, taro or other potatoes.

6. When cooking rice, try to choose starchy beans, such as red beans, mung beans, kidney beans, black kidney beans, and red kidney beans. Fatty beans such as soybeans and black soybeans do not taste good when cooked or cooked into porridge, but are suitable for making soy milk. (The difference between black soybeans and black kidney beans: black soybeans are generally larger and rounder, with a green interior, and are several times more expensive than black kidney beans. Black kidney beans are mostly smaller and kidney-shaped, with a gray interior)
