How to make butter cake (water bath method)

The kitchen is a place for making delicious food, but in modern people's homes, the kitchen has almost become a decoration. Most people think that cooking is time-consuming and labor-intensive, and is not as economical as eating out. The cream cake (water bath method) is a simple dish that is economical, healthy and can easily resolve your concerns.

1. Weigh all the ingredients, separate the egg whites and yolks from 5 eggs, beat another whole egg with the egg yolk, apply a layer of butter on the inner wall and bottom of the cake mold, or line it with greaseproof paper.

2. Add salt to the egg white and beat it to make fish eye bubbles

3. Then add sugar to the egg whites three times and beat until hard foam forms. When you lift the egg beater, there will be a small sharp corner. For detailed steps on beating the egg whites, please refer to my rice cooker cake, light cheesecake and other cake recipes. I will not repeat them here.

4. Set the beaten egg white aside for later use. Put the butter in a container and heat it over water until it melts.

5. Sift the low-gluten flour into the butter liquid

6. Use a rubber spatula to stir evenly.

7. Add the milk to the butter and flour paste three times, stirring evenly while adding.

8. The completely mixed milk and butter batter should be smooth and free of particles, and there should be no oil and milk separation.

9. Mix 5 egg yolks and 1 whole egg evenly.

10. Then add the egg yolk liquid into the milk and butter batter several times.

11. Add the mixture and stir evenly with a manual egg beater.

12. The final egg yolk, milk and butter batter should be fully blended, very smooth and able to drip smoothly. At this time, put about 80 ml of water in the baking tray, put it in the lower middle layer of the oven, and preheat the oven at 150 degrees.

13. Pour 1/3 of the beaten egg white into the egg yolk batter

14. Use a rubber spatula to stir evenly.

15. Pour all the mixed batter back into the egg white bowl

16. Use a rubber spatula to stir evenly.

17. Pour the mixed cake batter into a buttered mold. I used a round mold, but you can also use a square one. Shake it gently to break up the big bubbles. Put it into the oven baking tray and bake it at 150 degrees in a water bath for about 60 minutes.

18. Remove from the oven after 60 minutes, let it cool to room temperature, and then remove from the mold.

19. Cut into pieces when eating, very soft taste

20. Very similar to light cheesecake

Eating too much condiments in restaurants for a long time is not good for your health. Cream cake (water bath method) is simple to make and does not require any condiments, so it is guaranteed to be healthy.
