Steamed Chicken with Shiitake Mushrooms
Steamed Chicken with Shiitake Mushrooms: A step 11 step recipe with pictures. Soak the shiitake mushrooms in warm water until softened. (I used pearl mushrooms, so I used a larger quantity.)

Method
- 01
Step 1
Soak shiitake mushrooms in warm water until softened. (I used pearl mushrooms, so I used more.)

- 02
Step 2
Wash and drain the chicken drumsticks, then cut them open, separate the meat from the bone, and remove the bones.

- 03
Step 3
Cut the boneless meat into chunks.

- 04
Step 4
Add all the seasonings except for scallions, ginger, and garlic, mix well, and marinate for at least half an hour.

- 05
Step 5
Chop the scallions, ginger, and garlic. Use only the white part of the scallions. (You can also use green onions.)

- 06
Step 6
Heat some oil in a pan, then add scallions, ginger, and garlic and sauté until fragrant.

- 07
Step 7
Pour the chicken and broth into the pot.

- 08
Step 8
Stir-fry until the chicken changes color, then add the shiitake mushrooms and stir-fry for one minute. (If using large shiitake mushrooms, cut them into strips.)

- 09
Step 9
Once stir-fried, plate the dish. Bring the water to a boil in a steamer over high heat, then reduce to medium-low heat and steam 15 minutes.

- 10
Step 10
Sprinkle chopped green onions on top of the steamed chicken.
