5. Add onion, ginger and star anise at the same time

6. Add dark soy sauce and cooking wine and stir-fry for about 5 minutes

7. Add an appropriate amount of water, the amount of water should be enough to cover the chicken pieces, and bring to a boil over high heat

8. Turn to low heat and simmer for about 1 hour

9. While the chicken is stewing, peel and clean the lotus root, then cut it into large diamond-shaped pieces. Wash the oyster mushrooms and cut into wide strips

10. Add lotus root to the pot and stew for about 15 minutes

11. Add oyster mushrooms and thousand sheets, add appropriate amount of salt and simmer for about 15 minutes (because the oyster mushrooms will burn out water, you can also transfer to the wok at this time, the wok is more likely to consume some of the water)

12. A delicious and nutritious stew is ready (the final dish should have a proper amount of soup, the thick soup is delicious with the staple food rice)
