Homemade pork belly stewed with tofu

Stewed pork belly with tofu is a common home-cooked dish, and it is a popular method in the Northeast region. Homemade pork belly stewed with tofu

Main ingredients: 200g northern tofu, auxiliary ingredients: 150g pork belly, 50g green garlic, seasoning: 5g chicken essence, 10g ginger, 10g cooking wine, 10g dark soy sauce, 20g water starch, 20g Pixian bean paste, 10g five-spice powder

1. Wash the pork belly and cut it into small pieces, wash the tofu and cut it into slices about 0.3 cm thick, cut the garlic sprouts into sections, chop the Pixian bean paste, and cut the ginger into shreds

2. Heat the pan with oil, put the tofu slices in one by one, fry until one side is golden brown, then turn it over, and finally fry until both sides are golden brown, then scoop it out for later use. Add the remaining oil in the pan, add the pork belly, stir-fry until the meat changes color, add two teaspoons of cooking wine and stir well

3. Add Pixian bean paste and shredded ginger, stir well, add previously fried tofu, add two small spoons of dark soy sauce, stir-fry until colored, add boiling water to cover all the ingredients, then add appropriate amount of salt, chicken essence, five-spice powder, cover the pot, and cook on low heat for about 20 minutes

4. Open the lid and turn to high heat. Add the garlic sprouts after the soup thickens, stir well, add the wet starch, stir well and thicken.

Ingredients: old tofu, pork belly, snow mustard greens, salt, light soy sauce, pepper, chicken essence, five-spice powder, ginger slices, oil. Method: 1. Steam the snow mustard greens, then cut into sections. 2. Heat the oil in a pan and stir-fry the snow vegetable, then add the pork belly slices and ginger slices. 3. Then add light soy sauce, salt, five-spice powder, chicken essence and pepper powder and stir-fry until cooked. 4. Then pour in the soup and continue to stew for 10 minutes, then pour in the old tofu and simmer on low heat for 10 minutes. Finally, sprinkle some chopped green onions before serving.
