1. Peel the taro and cut into thick strips.

2.1 Heat the oil, put the green onions in and fry them, then remove them. (This way the oil will have a green onion aroma, but you don’t have to add it)

3.2 Prepare white sugar and green onions.

4.1 Take out the taro strips and drain the oil, pour out the oil and clean the pot.

5.2 Add a little salt to the oil, put the taro strips in and fry over medium heat until cooked.

6. Add a little water, 2 tablespoons of white sugar and cook over medium heat until white bubbles appear, then turn to low heat. (My taro is not big, so I only put 2 tablespoons of sugar)

7. Pour in the fried taro strips and turn off the heat.

8. After constantly stirring with a spoon and cooling down, the syrup will turn into white soft sand.
