Girls should avoid eating fatty meat during pregnancy because it can cause nausea and vomiting and is not helpful in relieving pregnancy symptoms. So, can pregnant women eat fatty meat?

1. Pregnant women cannot eat eggplant. "Bencao Qiuzhen" said: Eggplant tastes sweet and has a cold nature, and is slippery and sharp. Pregnant women will suffer especially from the harm if they eat it. In the hot summer, many friends like to use a dish: garlic mashed eggplant. Of course pregnant women can’t eat this!

2. Pregnant women cannot eat wood vegetable. Malabar spinach is not agaric, it is also called tofu vegetable and basella. It is cold in nature and has the effect of lubricating the intestines and cooling the blood. Pregnant women in early pregnancy or those with habitual miscarriage should avoid eating it.

3. Pregnant women cannot eat lettuce. Especially when eaten raw, as a kind of raw and cold food, lettuce often contains bacteria, pesticides, etc. Eating it raw can easily cause diarrhea and is not good for the fetus.

4. Of course, some vegetables such as spinach and kelp are rich in nutrients, but they should be eaten in moderation, because spinach contains a lot of oxalic acid, which will affect the absorption of zinc and calcium. If you like to eat it, you must separate it from calcium-containing foods such as meat and milk. However, if you consume too much kelp, the excess iodine will cause thyroid development disorders in the fetus. Unripe tomatoes and vegetables that have been left for too long, such as potatoes, can affect the health of pregnant women and fetuses. Therefore, pregnant women can only eat cooked fresh vegetables, and cannot eat foods that are too salty, too spicy, burnt or fried!

If you eat a healthy vegetarian diet during pregnancy that includes a wide variety of fruits, vegetables, grains (rice, wheat, etc.) and protein (dairy products, tofu, soy and other legumes), you should get the nutrients you need. Be sure to get enough calcium - dairy products are a good source. You should also eat plenty of dark green vegetables, such as spinach and other dark green vegetables that are common in your area, to ensure that you get enough iron and avoid anemia. Spinach contains more iron than meat, but the iron can only be effectively absorbed by the body when spinach is eaten with foods containing high-quality vitamin C, including tomatoes, potatoes and green peppers. It may be easier for you to take a vitamin C supplement with your spinach. Your doctor can check your blood test results to see if you are getting enough iron. If you are not getting enough iron, they may recommend that you take iron supplements. If this happens to you, try to choose iron supplements that do not cause constipation and take them with vitamin C for better absorption.
