How to make orange toast

Do you salivate every time you see a food show on TV? But when I wanted to follow along, I found that the show had already ended. Don’t be discouraged. Today I will teach you the specific steps for making orange toast.

1. Mix the high flour (1) and yeast powder (1) in the medium dough ingredients evenly.

2.12 Pour in water (1) and mix well. No need to knead it into a film, just mix well and place in a warm place to ferment.

3.21 Fermented to 4 or 5 times its original size, it has a distinct sour taste.

4.1 Add candied orange peel and knead at low speed.

5.2 Add all the ingredients in the main dough except butter and candied orange peel, and knead until it expands to form a thick film. Add butter softened at room temperature and continue kneading until it is fully expanded and a thin, firm, transparent film can be pulled out.

6. After kneading evenly, place it in a warm place to relax for 30 minutes.

7. The dough will increase by about 2 times.

8. Divide the relaxed dough into 6 equal parts, roll into balls, and relax for 10 minutes.

9. After rolling it twice, put it into a toast mold and place it in a warm place to ferment until it is 90% full. Because I was in a hurry to go to work, I almost put it into the oven when it was only 80% full... I strongly recommend that you don’t do this, and make sure it is fully fermented! !

10. Brush a layer of water on the surface (you can brush it with egg liquid, milk or butter, but the more I make toast, the lazier I get, so I just brush it with water), put it in a preheated oven at 180 degrees, on the lower middle layer, for about 40 minutes. Cover it with tin foil in the middle to prevent the surface from being too brown.
