How to make hydrangea steamed buns

How to make hydrangea steamed buns

The pressure at work should not be an excuse for us not to cook for ourselves. After all, eating out is only a stopgap measure. It is more practical to learn how to make some home-cooked dishes by ourselves. The method of making hydrangea steamed buns is actually very simple, and it is not difficult to learn even for a novice in cooking.

1. Add yeast to milk, stir well and let it stand for five minutes. Stir the flour and sugar in circles while pouring in the milk and yeast mixture until it becomes cotton-like. Knead it into a smooth dough with your hands and cover with a wet cloth to let it rise.

2. Let the dough rise until it is twice as large. When you dip your finger in water and insert it into the dough, it does not shrink.

3. Knead for a few minutes to release the air, then divide into small pieces of even size.

4. Roll into strips.

5. Arrange them in a tic-tac-toe pattern. One on top of another.

6. Fold the strips underneath in a clockwise direction. Stack the odd numbers on top of the even numbers as shown.

7. Then stack the strips underneath in a counterclockwise direction, that is, 2 on top of 7, 8 on top of 5, 6 on top of 3, and 4 on top of 1.

8. Repeat steps 6 and 7 until all the strips are folded. Remember one thing, one circle clockwise and one circle counterclockwise, the strips that are pressed down are always stacked over.

9. Turn the dough over and pinch the back side tightly. If you have stuffing, you can add it now.

10. After pinching it tightly, turn it over and gently roll it into a ball with your hands and it’s done.

11. Apply some oil or grease on the steamer to prevent sticking, put the prepared steamed buns on it, put the pot in cold water and bring to a boil over high heat until steam comes out, then cover the pot. Continue to cook over high heat for fifteen minutes, then turn off the heat and simmer for five minutes. (I steamed two pots, but forgot to take a picture of the pot with hydrangeas, so I’ll use this picture as a thumbs up)

12. Turn off the heat and simmer for five minutes, then take it out and eat it!

13. Other cartoon shapes. You can make various shapes at once, and children will like it very much.

14. Steamed buns just out of the oven.

Hydrangea steamed buns are a dish suitable for novice women to make. Simple dishes can help people practice their unfamiliar skills and also allow them to study different cooking methods.
