How to make meat pie soup with water chestnut, carrot and cabbage

Therefore, it is wiser to cook it yourself. The recipe of water chestnut, carrot, cabbage and meat patty soup is simple and can be completed in just over ten minutes.

1. Wash both kinds of meat and cut them into dices.

2. Wash the water chestnuts, carrots, and ginger (cut into shreds) and set aside.

3. Select and wash the Chinese cabbage hearts, dry them and set aside.

4. Chop the diced meat, water chestnuts and carrots together, add salt and cornstarch (according to your taste), and then mix well with your hands. Next, pound the meat on the chopping board continuously for 3 minutes.

5. Add 1 drop of oil to the bowl, put the meat into the bowl and press it flat with your hands. After adding the shredded ginger, gently add water to prevent the meat from falling apart.

6. After boiling water in the pot, cover the bowl and steam it for 90 minutes.

7. When the time is up, add some choy sum and steam for another 5 minutes.
