   Step 1

   Clean and cut fresh grass carp into pieces

   Fish pieces deboned and sliced

   Peel and devein fresh shrimp

   Fish chunks and shrimp meat are mashed into a paste.

   Mix in salt, cornstarch, egg white, and baking soda.

   Shape the meatballs into balls, cook them in boiling water until done, then remove them and soak them in cold water.
