Oyster sauce lettuce

Method

   Step 1

   Wash the lettuce

   Add water to the pot and a few drops of oil.

   Add a spoonful of salt

   Add lettuce to boiling water

   Blanch for about 10 seconds

   Remove and drain

   Heat oil in a wok, add minced garlic. I didn't have dried chili peppers, so I used diced red bell peppers, but it's delicious even without them.

   Add oyster sauce and half a spoonful of light soy sauce.

   Add half a bowl of water

    Add cornstarch slurry (cornstarch mixed with water). This is used for thickening.
