Steamed hairy crab

Method

   Step 1

   4 live hairy crabs, clean their exteriors with a brush and set aside. Wash and chop the other ingredients and set aside.

   Step 2

   Put water in a pot, add Sichuan peppercorns, ginger slices, and scallion segments, and bring to a boil.

   Step 3

   Once the water boils, place the steaming rack inside, add the crab, and simmer covered 20 minutes.

   Step 4

   After 20 minutes, the crab will be fully cooked. Turn off the heat and let it simmer 5 minutes.

   Step 5

   Cut off the binding rope, prepare the ginger sauce, plate it, and enjoy.
