braised quail eggs
Here's a step 3 step guide to making braised quail eggs, with pictures. First, place the quail eggs in a pot of cold water. Once the water boils, cook for three minutes, then turn off the heat. Rinse them with cold water, cover the pot, and shake the eggs to make them easier to peel. Next, break the spices into small pieces and add them to the pot to release their flavor. Then, cut the pork belly into chunks and place them at the bottom of the pot (I forgot to take a picture of the pork belly here).

Step 2
Place the pork belly at the bottom of the pot, add quail eggs (you can also use chicken eggs instead of quail eggs, and you can also add fried tofu or frozen tofu), add three tablespoons of soy sauce and one tablespoon of sugar (both tablespoons are soup spoons), and add water to cover the ingredients.
