Oreo Sea Salt Pearl Milk Tea
Oreo Sea Salt Pearl Milk Tea Recipe (with pictures, 7 steps). Heat the milk, steep a black tea bag, let it cool, and refrigerate for several hours. The tea flavor will fully infuse the milk; a slightly bitter taste is actually quite delicious.

Step 1
Heat the milk, steep a black tea bag, let it cool, and refrigerate for a few hours. The tea flavor will fully infuse the milk; a slightly bitter taste is actually quite delicious.

Step 2
Makes 50 tapioca pearls. Reduce the number if you're making fewer. The picture shows a portion of the pearls. I used regular tapioca pearls, but you can also make your own in advance. Bring water to a boil in a pot, add the pearls, and once they float to the surface, reduce the heat to medium-low, cover, and cook for three to four minutes. Turn off the heat and let it sit for a few minutes. Remove from the pot and rinse with cold water.

Step 3
Add sugar and sea salt to the heavy cream. If you have cream cheese, you can add 20 , or 5 of condensed milk for flavor. I didn't add any this time because I was worried it would be too rich. Mix the milk, sugar, and salt thoroughly and whip until it reaches a slow-flowing consistency. I deliberately over-whipped it a little today to test it, but it turned out great. It incorporated a lot of air, so it didn't sink easily.

Step 4
Add the little pearls to the cup, hia~

Step 5
Add the mixed milk tea, taking it out of the refrigerator beforehand, otherwise be careful of stomach aches. Use a spoon to add the milk foam, then add Oreo crumbs (remove the cream from the Oreos, just crush the cookie pieces on both sides).

Step 6
Add chocolate chips and Pocky biscuits (optional, but they're still pretty!).

Step 7
For someone with a strong sense of ritual, I have to finish the cookie stick soaked in milk tea before I can drink it. =^▽^=
