How to cook quail eggs with daylily

1. Prepare the ingredients

2. Soak the daylily in plenty of cold water.

3. Wash the purchased quail eggs and put them into a pot to cook (first boil over high heat, then turn to medium-low heat and cook for 10 minutes. Add some salt while cooking to make it easier to peel the shells)

4. After the eggs are cooked, put them in cold water immediately (heat expands and cold contracts) and peel them.

5. Then add a spoonful of flour and coat the quail eggs evenly with flour to make it easier to fry.

6. Heat the wok with oil until it is 70% hot.

7. Pour in the flour-coated quail eggs and fry over low heat.

8. Fry until both sides are golden brown.

9. Wash the soaked day lily and put it in a bowl for later use.

10. Pour the prepared day lily into the pan where the quail eggs were just fried and stir-fry quickly.

11. Stir-fry the day lily for one or two minutes, then pour in an appropriate amount of water, add the fried quail eggs, sprinkle with appropriate salt, cover the pot and simmer over medium heat for three to five minutes.

12. When the water in the pot is almost dry, add a few pieces of lettuce leaves (added temporarily, to make the finished product look good, you can add chopped green onions, but my children don’t eat green onions, haha) stir fry for a few times and then remove from the pot and serve. (Friends who like spicy food can add chili peppers)
