4. Bring to a boil over high heat, then turn to medium-low heat, cover and simmer until the potatoes are soft and fluffy (about 10 minutes), then turn off the heat; break the curry into small pieces and put it into the pot, stir until it is fully melted, then turn on the heat and simmer over low heat until the curry becomes thick (about 5 minutes). During this time, make sure to stir the ingredients in the pot moderately so that they are evenly coated with the curry sauce.
