Dietary focus

Within 6 hours after cesarean section: Do not eat. Intestinal function is inhibited after the operation, there is gas accumulation in the intestinal cavity, and there is a feeling of abdominal bloating. Do not eat for the time being after the operation. When you are thirsty, you can drink small amounts of water at regular intervals.

24 hours after delivery: You can eat a small amount of liquid food, such as stewed eggs, egg drop soup, lotus root powder, etc. Drink some gas-relieving soups, such as carrot soup, which can relieve gas and replenish water.

24-48 hours after surgery: Gastrointestinal function gradually recovers, and you can eat light, fiber-rich meals such as porridge, crucian carp soup, etc.

During the period of gas discharge, you cannot eat general food, such as boiled eggs, fried vegetables, meat, rice, etc. You cannot eat sweets, including chocolate, brown sugar water, sweet juice and milk, to avoid bloating.

2-3 days after delivery: You can switch to a semi-liquid diet, such as porridge, noodles, etc., and pay attention to eating small and frequent meals. Drink more water to relieve constipation and edema.

Nutritional recipe: Lamb chops, kelp and radish soup

Nutrition: Lamb chops are an excellent product for replenishing qi, tonifying deficiency, warming the middle and warming the lower body. They have significant effects on postpartum weakness, weak waist and knees, and postpartum abdominal pain. Radish can promote gas discharge and reduce bloating. Ingredients: 150 grams each of lamb ribs and white radish, 50 grams of soaked kelp shreds, and appropriate amounts of cooking wine and salt.

Method: 1. Wash and cut the radish into shreds, wash and cut the kelp shreds into sections, and wash and chop the lamb chops into pieces.

2. Add water to the lamb ribs and bring to a boil. Skim off the foam, add cooking wine, and simmer over low heat for 90 minutes.

3. Add shredded radish and cook for another 15 minutes. Add salt, shredded kelp, chicken essence and bring to a boil.

Egg Tofu

Ingredients: 3 eggs, 150 grams of soft tofu, 5 grams of salt.

2. Place the pan on the fire, pour in appropriate amount of oil, heat it, add the seasoned eggs, and fry until the eggs are solidified.

Lotus root and lean meat soup

Nutrition: Lotus root has the effects of anti-inflammatory and blood stasis, clearing away heat and relieving dryness, relieving cough and reducing phlegm. Lean meat itself has the effect of strengthening the spleen and stomach. When eaten together with lotus root which nourishes yin and moistens the lungs, it has the effects of clearing away heat and promoting body fluid, stimulating the appetite, strengthening the spleen and benefiting blood.

Ingredients: 200 grams of lotus root, 200 grams of pork, and appropriate amount of salt.

Method: 1. Chop the pork into pieces and wash it. Cut the lotus root into small pieces.

2. Boil water in a clay pot. When the water boils, cook the pork over medium heat to remove the blood stains from the spine. Remove from the pork and rinse for later use.

3. Put all the ingredients in a clay pot, add water and bring to a boil over high heat.
