How to make pork stew with sauerkraut

As winter approaches, it’s time for stews. Pork with sauerkraut is simple and easy to make. After preparing the ingredients and condiments, you can stir-fry, add water, and simmer. You can add salad oil, cooking wine, chicken essence, etc. according to your personal preference. Many people like to pair it with onions, which is also a good choice. Learn these methods quickly during the winter!

1. Wash and prepare the ingredients. To save trouble, I bought bagged shredded sauerkraut.

2. Cut the potatoes into pieces, wash the sauerkraut with water, and cut the pork belly into thick slices

3. Pour oil into the pan, add the pork belly when the oil is slightly hot, fry until it is dry, add salt and thirteen spices after the meat turns slightly yellow.

4. Add onion and garlic, stir-fry until fragrant, then add potato cubes, stir-fry and add dark soy sauce

5. Add shredded pickled cabbage and appropriate amount of salt and stir fry.

6. Add water to cover the sauerkraut and simmer over medium heat for about an hour.

7. Remove from the pan and serve!
