How to make fried siu mai

People who are busy with work often order takeout and rarely eat at home. In fact, home-made meals are truly healthy and green food. Fried siu mai is a dish that is very suitable for busy people. It is a good idea to forget about takeout during the holidays and cook at home.

1. Chop the pork and mince the onion and ginger and put them in a bowl.

2. Add appropriate amount of Vinda soy sauce, dark soy sauce, peanut oil, five-spice powder, salt, and chicken powder into a bowl (these seasonings should be adjusted according to personal taste), stir evenly in a clockwise direction, and marinate for 15 minutes to allow the meat filling to absorb the flavor.

3. The assorted vegetables are bought ready-made (actually corn kernels, green peas, and carrots). They need to be blanched in water. The blanched corn kernels, carrots, and green peas are then cooled and boiled.

4. Soak the rice in advance and prepare all the fillings.

5. Pour the fillings together and mix evenly to make a colorful filling.

6. The dumpling slices are bought, and use the top of a rolling pin to roll the edges of the dumpling slices into a lotus leaf shape.

7. Place the dumpling slices at the base of your thumb, add the dumpling filling, and tighten the base of your thumb.

8. Wrapped steamed dumplings.

9. Pour a proper amount of peanut oil into the frying pan, turn off the heat when the oil is hot, put the steamed buns into the pan one by one, and make sure the steamed buns are evenly coated with oil.

10. Turn the stove to medium heat and fry the steamed buns slightly. Then pour the noodle soup into the pot, until the noodle soup reaches about one-third of the steamed buns. Cover the pot and wait until the soup is dry.

11. Cook the pan over high heat until the sauce thickens. Turn off the heat when the bottom turns slightly yellow.
