Fish stewed with tofu, nutritional recipes to know

Gayu is a very nutritious fish. Gayu is also called yellow catfish. It is a freshwater fish that lives in rivers. Because it is relatively rare, it is more expensive. The current market price is about 20 to 30 yuan. So, how to make the fish stewed with tofu delicious?

The meat is tender like tofu, with few thorns, high in fat, delicious taste and high nutritional value. The content of protein, fat, calcium and phosphorus is the highest among fish in rivers, which is beneficial to strengthening the body. Because it makes a "ga ga ya" sound when it is just fished out, we locally call it "ga ya zi". The garfish grows up by eating small fish and shrimp. It has teeth and a pair of hard spines on both sides that can easily prick your fingers if you are not careful.

Tofu is rich in protein, vitamins and carbohydrates. Eating tofu regularly is very beneficial for preventing and treating many diseases of the respiratory, circulatory, and digestive systems. Fish stew with tofu

Ingredients: fish, northern tofu

Seasoning: scallions, ginger slices, salt, chives, white pepper

Production process:

1. Kill the fish, clean it and drain the water.

2. Cut the scallion and green onion into sections, and peel and slice the ginger.

3. Cut the northern tofu into small square pieces, put them into clean water with a little salt and soak them for 5 minutes.

4. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the fish on both sides.

5. Add ginger slices and scallion segments and sauté until fragrant, pour in boiling water and bring to a boil, then add a little pepper powder to remove the fishy smell.

6. Bring the water to a boil over high heat.

7. Turn to low heat, cover with lid and cook for 30 minutes until milky white.

8. Drain the tofu and simmer over low heat for 5 minutes.

9-10. Add appropriate amount of salt to taste and continue cooking for 5-10 minutes.

11. Sprinkle with chopped green onions before serving.
