By pouring the oil in batches like this, the red oil produced will be bright red in color and have a strong aroma. 3. The taste is best if you let it sit for more than 24 hours before eating. 4. If you feel the oil temperature is too high, you can add some water (5ML-10ML) to cool it down when pouring it for the last time as shown in the above post. 5. Don’t underestimate this simplified version of chili oil. After a day of settling, it is also very fragrant. 6. Some people like to fry some onions and ginger slices in oil first, and then pour chili peppers with the oil; or add star anise, cardamom, pepper, cardamom and other spices when pouring the oil for the last time.
