Cook for about 5 minutes. Turn off the heat when you smell the burnt aroma and simmer for a final 5-8 minutes (do not open the lid during the cooking). 10. Peel the lettuce and slice it. After the water boils, add appropriate amount of salt and oil, then add the lettuce slices. Bring to a boil and then scoop out and spread on the rice (if you like it soft, cook it a little longer).
