How to make steamed bun version of Pikachu

People often complain about being stressed, having irregular diets, and being in a sub-healthy state. In fact, when you are resting, you can learn to cook and reward yourself on weekends. Next, I’ll introduce the steamed bun version of Pikachu. You must find some time to make it yourself.

1. Steam the sweet potatoes, peel them, let them cool, put them in a fresh-keeping bag and use a rolling pin to mash them for later use.

2. Dissolve the instant yeast powder in a little warm water and pour it into the all-purpose flour. Add mashed potatoes and stir. Then use a bowl to dissolve a bowl of sugar water and add it to the flour gradually. Stir until the dough is smooth and not sticky. Then you can start fermenting. I use a bread machine and the fermentation time is about 30 minutes. Dip your finger in some flour and press the dough. If the dough does not shrink and the holes are not filled back, it proves that the fermentation is in place.

3. Take out the fermented dough and knead it for ten minutes, then start shaping it. Take a large ball and roll it into a round shape and flatten it to make Pikachu's face. Take another small ball and roll it into an olive shape. Use a knife to cut the olive-shaped dough in the middle. Flatten the cut part slightly. Dip it in some clean water and stick it on top of Pikachu's head as ears.

4. Take another piece of dough, add cocoa powder and knead well.

5. Flatten the cocoa dough into a thin skin, use the pen cap to press out two small circles for eyes, use scissors to cut two triangles for ear tip decoration; roll a thin strip for the mouth.

6. Stick the cocoa dough on Pikachu's face and ears; dip the noodles in water and stick them on his mouth, being careful to make his mouth look like a smile. Finally, cut two slices of carrot and stick them on your cheeks, then squeeze two drops of salad dressing onto your eyes. After all these steps are completed, the dough should be left to rise for ten minutes.

7.Pull Pikachu's ears slightly to one side. Steam in a pot with cold water, then turn the high heat to medium heat after the water boils, and steam for about 20 minutes. Wait five minutes after turning off the flame before removing the lid. Look, the steamed bun version of Pikachu has become fatter after being steamed, haha.

After reading the editor’s introduction today, I think housewives no longer need to try to cook according to recipes. With the steps I mentioned, you can definitely make a delicious steamed version of Pikachu for your family to enjoy!
