Roast whole chicken recipe

Roast whole chicken recipe

Many modern people spend their days in a hurry, have irregular meals and almost always eat out. On the surface it may seem like a hassle-free experience, but from a health perspective it is a very bad habit. Caring for your health starts with diet. When it comes to diet, it starts with yourself. So below I will first introduce the method of making roasted whole chicken.

1. Prepare various materials according to the list. A great way for beginners to avoid getting in a rush is to write down the recipe, stick it on the refrigerator, and review everything needed for each step, list it down, and prepare it. Yes, we call it a checklist.

2. This is actually a detailed version of the preparation stage: prepare the raw materials better, such as weighing, measuring, washing, slicing and dicing (of course, no cutting is needed today).

3. Mix all the bay leaves, rosemary, thyme and pepper, grind into powder and shake evenly

4. Wash the chicken clean, including the chest and abdominal cavities (OK, I admit I'm picky and didn't believe I could clean it clean from the butt, so I later cut open its stomach). Remove the tail.

5. Apply oil all over your body and have a massage. I think the oil could be a little more, it felt a little dry during the process

6. Add salt and give the whole body massage again

7. Add the mixed spices from step 3 and massage the chicken for the third time

8. Continue until it is even and bonded. Place the chicken belly down

9. Scrape some lemon zest onto the chicken.

10. Cut garlic slices and lemon into pieces and place them on the chest, armpits, inner thighs and other places where the odor needs to be suppressed.

11. Put it in the preheated oven at 210 degrees, bake it on both sides for 25 minutes. The aroma wafts out during the roasting process, like the drowsy rosemary. So it is best not to cook this dish in the hot noon, or you will just fall asleep on the table...

12. After baking, you can use chopsticks to test it. You can gently poke through the crispy chicken skin and into the meat. Watching the oil spurt out along the chopsticks, wow. OK, take the chicken out and place it on a plate, pour the remaining ingredients in the baking tray into the pot

13. Add wine and water to the remaining ingredients, bring to a boil over high heat, and then pour evenly over the chicken on the plate.

After reading the editor's introduction, I believe that friends can't wait. What are you waiting for? Then quickly go into the kitchen and show your skills and start making roasted whole chicken.
