Passion fruit kumquat tea recipe

Main ingredients: passion fruit 10 kumquat 15 auxiliary ingredients: rock sugar to taste lemon 1

1. Wash the passion fruit, cut off the top, and scoop out the pulp with a spoon.

2. Put the cleaned fruit pulp into a clean bowl for later use

3. Wash and drain kumquats

4. Drain and slice the kumquats

5. Put an appropriate amount of rock sugar in a clean, water-free container

6. Pour in the chopped kumquats and lemon slices (I made this up on a whim and didn’t have fresh lemons, so I used lemon honey instead. Lemon can prevent oxidation, and the storage time will be relatively longer with lemon)

7. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the kumquat juice is boiled and the rock sugar is melted

8. I don’t like the kumquat seeds to be separated, so I remove them when boiling.

9. When the kumquats become transparent, add the passion fruit pulp

10. Stir over low heat until the mixture is fully blended with the kumquats and turn off the heat.

11. Cool, pour into prepared container and refrigerate. It is very convenient to take it out and drink it when needed. Of course, it can also be eaten as jam with bread.
