1. Prepare fresh bayberry and rinse it several times with clean water.

If you add too much, you can scoop out some when the juice is thick. The sour and sweet bayberry juice can be drunk directly, or used to make other things, such as jelly, popsicles, etc.).

6. When the water in the pot is almost dry, turn to low heat and continue cooking. Stir it frequently at this time, like stir-frying, to avoid sticking to the pot (as long as you don't stir or shovel it randomly, you can stir it without worrying that the bayberries will break into pieces).

7. The water in the pot is getting less and less, continue to cook on low heat, remember to stir constantly, the bayberry is gradually getting smaller and the color is getting darker. If you like it dry, you can cook it for a while longer, as long as it doesn't get stuck in the pot (the whole cooking process is very long, be patient)

8. I didn’t cook it very dry, so I kept baking it in the oven for a while, in the middle or upper-middle layer of the oven, at 120 degrees for more than an hour (you can also put it in the sun and let it dry naturally).

9. Let the dried bayberry cool down a little, sprinkle some sugar on it, and the dried bayberry is done.

10. Paired with the canned bayberry you make yourself, it is so delicious that you can’t stop eating it, haha! ~If you can’t finish it, you can seal it in the refrigerator and refrigerate it. If it is dried out during the sun, you don’t need to put it in the refrigerator, just seal it and keep it (but again, since it’s homemade without any additives or preservatives, you still have to eat it up as soon as possible).
