8. Place in the microwave. If it is an old-fashioned microwave oven, first use high heat for 5 minutes. When the time is up, wait a while, then change to medium heat for 10 minutes. After the time is up, simmer for 10 minutes before taking it out. If it is a new computer-based microwave oven like this one, first choose 100% power for 5 minutes. When the time is up, wait a short while, then use 60% power for 10 minutes, and simmer for 10 minutes after the time is up.
