What seasonings are used in northern lamb stew?

Mutton is the most health-preserving meat of all meats, but most of the delicious mutton is found in the north. Generally speaking, mutton is eaten in hot pot, but eating hot pot all the time is not good for your health, so mutton can also be stewed, and the taste is not bad. So what seasonings are used for northern lamb stew?

You can add cinnamon, pepper, chili, fennel, bay leaves, garlic cloves, ginger slices and other seasonings to stew lamb.

Main ingredients: one lamb rib; auxiliary ingredients: half a white radish; salt, sugar, cinnamon, bay leaves; 6 garlic cloves; 5 slices of ginger; dried chili peppers, cooking wine, dark soy sauce

Lamb stew method:

1. Wash the lamb ribs and white radish, cut into pieces, and chop the garlic and ginger slices. Cut the white radish into cubes and blanch it together with the mutton.

2. Pour appropriate amount of oil into the pot, add dried chili peppers, ginger slices and garlic cloves and stir-fry.

3. Pour in the drained mutton and stir-fry slightly.

4. Pour in cooking wine and dark soy sauce, continue to stir-fry, then add warm water, the amount of water should be equal to that of the mutton, put in bay leaves, cinnamon, chili oil, and bring to a boil over high heat.

5. Skim off the foam and add appropriate amount of sugar. The main purpose of adding sugar first is to allow the flavor of sugar to penetrate into the mutton, making it taste softer. Another thing is that you can add some sugar color.

6. Then turn to low heat and simmer, which will take about two hours. If there is not enough water during this period, be sure to add warm water and continue to simmer until the mutton is tender and the chopsticks can be inserted into the sheepskin.

7. Add appropriate amount of salt, turn to high heat and cook until the sauce is thick.

Note: Eating too much can cause stomach problems. If you eat barbecued food, it will contain a lot of carcinogens. Eating it frequently will cause harm to the body. Do not eat it with beer, as that will increase the harm to the body.
