How to make old-fashioned square cake

If we want to eat healthily, we need to cook our own meals. Only in this way can we be healthy. For this reason, I will first talk about the method of making the old-fashioned square cake.

1. Prepare the materials---for later use

2.1 Add nearly half a pot of hot water to the pot - set aside (not boiling water, hot water refers to water slightly hotter than warm water)

3.2 Sift the low flour and set aside; preheat the oven to 180 degrees and set aside

4.1 Use a whisk to stir the egg liquid. (I use the egg beater at level 1 because too high a level will easily produce a lot of bubbles)

5.2 Add eggs and sugar to a bowl, then place the bowl on the cooking pot. -----(The basin I used is transparent glass, please don’t misunderstand that I poured the eggs and sugar into hot water)

6.12 After a little stirring, it will become viscous, then continue stirring---

7.21 Stir until the egg liquid turns white and you can see the stirring lines when stirring. It's ready.

8.1 Pour in salad oil and stir evenly

9.2 Add low flour 3 or 4 times, and stir evenly from the bottom up with a rubber spatula (never use a whisk to stir)

10. Line the baking tray with wax paper, pour all the mixed cake batter into the baking tray, lift it up and shake it vigorously on the ground a few times to make the surface of the cake batter smooth and shake out the large bubbles inside. Sprinkle some almond slices on the surface (if you don’t have any, you don’t have to)

11. Put it in the oven, 180 degrees for 18 minutes

12. After baking for 10 minutes, open the oven and turn the mold around - this will ensure a more even color.

13. After 18 minutes at 180 degrees, use a toothpick to check. If there is no cake liquid on the toothpick, it is baked. If there is cake liquid, continue baking - (the size and thickness of the molds used by everyone are different, so the baking time is also different)

14. If it is not cooked yet, cover the surface with aluminum foil. No need to preheat, bake at 150 degrees for 10-30 minutes. (The mold I used was 20#20cm, which was a bit small and still a bit raw inside)

15. Take out the cake, peel off the wax paper, cut into appropriate size, and it's done.

16. Serve, OK-----

It is not difficult to make the old-fashioned square cake well, but the difficult part is whether you have persistence. In fact, as long as you can thoroughly understand the methods and steps mentioned above, and persist, the "results" will appear immediately.
