It's ready. 8.1 Pour in salad oil and stir evenly 9.2 Add low flour 3 or 4 times, and stir evenly from the bottom up with a rubber spatula (never use a whisk to stir) 10. Line the baking tray with wax paper, pour all the mixed cake batter into the baking tray, lift it up and shake it vigorously on the ground a few times to make the surface of the cake batter smooth and shake out the large bubbles inside. Sprinkle some almond slices on the surface (if you don’t have any, you don’t have to) 11. Put it in the oven, 180 degrees for 18 minutes 12. After baking for 10 minutes, open the oven and turn the mold around - this will ensure a more even color. 13. After 18 minutes at 180 degrees, use a toothpick to check. If there is no cake liquid on the toothpick, it is baked. If there is cake liquid, continue baking - (the size and thickness of the molds used by everyone are different, so the baking time is also different) 14. If it is not cooked yet, cover the surface with aluminum foil. No need to preheat, bake at 150 degrees for 10-30 minutes. (The mold I used was 20#20cm, which was a bit small and still a bit raw inside) 15. Take out the cake, peel off the wax paper, cut into appropriate size, and it's done. 16. Serve, OK----- It is not difficult to make the old-fashioned square cake well, but the difficult part is whether you have persistence.
