How to cook squid stewed pork ribs

There are many ways to maintain health, and the simplest one is diet. Next, I will introduce to you the method of cooking squid braised pork ribs.

1. Main ingredients: 500g spare ribs, 2 squids

2. Side ingredients: onion, ginger, garlic Seasoning: pepper, aniseed, salt, light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, cooking wine, rock sugar, aged vinegar

3. Cut the squid into squid flowers and set aside (for the method of making squid flowers, please refer to the steps of my "Stir-fried Squid Flowers with Chu Hou Sauce")

4. Heat oil in a micro pressure cooker. When the oil is 60% hot, add rock sugar and spareribs and fry over low heat until the rock sugar melts and the spareribs are fragrant. When the skin turns golden brown, add appropriate amount of light soy sauce.

5. Add onion, ginger, garlic, pepper and star anise and stir-fry until fragrant

6. Pour in boiling water, then add salt, dark soy sauce, cooking wine, and aged vinegar in appropriate amounts

7. Cover the micro pressure cooker and press for 10 minutes while the micro pressure cooker is venting steam.

8. After 10 minutes, open the lid of the micro pressure cooker, pour the squid flowers into the pot and simmer on low heat.

9. Simmer on low heat for 15 minutes, then turn to high heat to reduce the sauce and sprinkle with chopped green onions before serving.
