How to make simple rice cooker dough cake

Every time you visit friends or colleagues’ homes, you’ll find that they all have one or two specialties. But every time it was my turn, I was always short of money. You look particularly embarrassed like this, don't you? So, for the sake of your dignity, come and learn from me how to make simple yeasted dough in a rice cooker.

1. Add baking powder to the flour, dissolve the yeast with warm water, and let it stand for 5 minutes. Use the melted yeast water to mix the dough.

2.1 Sprinkle dry flour on the chopping board, knead the fermented dough evenly, stretch it into a long strip, and sprinkle some white sugar and black sesame seeds on it. (You can sprinkle whatever you want.)

3.2 Use the melted yeast water to knead the flour into a soft dough and let it rise to twice its size.

4.12 Roll up from one side and roll it into a long strip.

5.21 Roll it up from one side and into a pancake shape. Use your palm to press it into a larger pancake.

6. Mine is an old-fashioned rice cooker. After the rice cooker starts heating, put the dough in. Press the heating switch again to heat.

7. After the rice cooker starts heating, turn the dough over and put it back in, then press the heating switch.

8. Put the lid on, press the heating switch and then ignore it and go do other things. Flip it over twice in the middle. I don’t want a too thick crust, so I press the heating switch every fifteen minutes to heat it up. It will be ready in more than 40 minutes.

9. Okay, take it out of the pan and cut it.

10. It looks pretty good, but not as delicious as the one my mom makes. Why? !
