How to make glutinous rice stuffed tofu

1. Soak glutinous rice overnight (at least four hours)

2. Soak the mushrooms in advance, chop the pork, and wash the peas and set aside.

3. (Leave the water from soaking mushrooms)

4. Soak the fried tofu in boiling water for a while, then drain and set aside.

5. Put the peas into the pot and blanch them until cooked and set aside.

6. Pour a proper amount of oil into the pan, stir-fry the pork first, then add the chopped mushrooms and stir-fry together.

7. Add peas, add appropriate amount of salt to season and stir-fry evenly.

8. Add the soaked glutinous rice into the pan and stir-fry evenly. Add appropriate amount of light soy sauce and oyster sauce and stir-fry until the flavors are absorbed.

9. Then add half a bowl of water (or the water used to soak mushrooms), cover the pot and simmer until the soup is dry.

10. Finally, add thirteen spices and chopped green onions and mix well. The glutinous rice filling is ready.

11. After preparing the filling, start stuffing the tofu. Take a piece of tofu and make a small hole in it.

12. Use a small spoon to fill the tofu with the filling. (You can leave a few peas for decoration)

13. After the tofu is stuffed with stuffing, try to clean the meat stuffing off the surface. Make sure the surface is smooth and stuff all the tofu according to the previous two steps.

14. Then put it into the steamer and steam it for 25 minutes after the water starts to boil.

15. While steaming the tofu, let's prepare water starch. Add 1 spoon of starch and 2 spoons of light soy sauce to half a bowl of water and mix well for later use.

16. Steamed glutinous rice stuffed with tofu, neatly arranged on a plate

17. Heat a little oil in the pan, then add water starch to thicken.

18. Finally, pour the sauce on top.
