1. Fruit picking: The best time to pick persimmons is when the fruits are fully ripe, the yellow color of the skin fades to slightly red, and the flesh is firm.

2. Peeling: Use scissors to cut off the wings of the persimmon pedicle and peel the harvested persimmons. Use a peeling knife to peel the skin thinly and evenly, without missing any skins or peeling twice. Try to leave as little skin as possible around the base of the fruit stalk, and the width should generally not exceed 1 cm.

3. Slicing: Cut the peeled persimmon into thin slices 0.4-0.5 cm thick.

4. Drying: Place the persimmon slices on a sieve or bamboo drying tool, preferably individually, in a ventilated and dry place, keeping the top exposed to light and the bottom ventilated. If you need to cover it with plastic film on rainy days, make sure it is ventilated and let it dry naturally.

5. Frosting: First put a layer of persimmon peel on the bottom of the jar (or other container), then place a layer of dried persimmons on top, two by two, then put another layer of persimmon peel, and then another layer of dried persimmons, until the jar is full. Finally put another layer of persimmon peel, seal the mouth of the jar tightly, and place it in a cool place to allow frost to form naturally. Be careful not to expose the dried persimmons to light to avoid affecting frost formation. Frosted dried persimmons are sweet, crispy, and durable in transportation and storage.
