1. Weigh all the ingredients and set aside

2. Take a larger container, put the baking powder and sugar into the container, add water and mix well

4. Cover with a plastic bag or plastic wrap and ferment for an hour (if it is cold in summer, the fermentation time should be extended to one hour!). It is 30 degrees indoors now. 6. Plug in the power supply to preheat the pancake machine, then use a spoon to scoop the rice paste into the pancake machine. The size can be whatever you like. Cover the lid and wait until the light on the switch goes out, then simmer for about ten seconds before opening the lid.

7. Open the lid and you will see that the edges of the rice cakes have curled up and there is a rice aroma. Use tongs or chopsticks to put the two pieces of pancake together as shown in the picture.

8. Serve on a plate
