How to make potato pancakes, it tastes better this way

Potato cake is a relatively traditional snack. It is not only delicious, but also can fill people's stomach. No matter how much you eat, you will not feel sick of it. It belongs to Anhui cuisine and Cantonese cuisine. The main ingredients are flour and potatoes. If you want to make it more delicious, you need to understand how to make potato cakes.

Method 1

1. Wash the potatoes, steam them, peel them and cut them into strips. The thinner the better (it depends on your own skills). Mix them with milk and salt and marinate for 20 minutes. Chop the shallots into chopped green onions.

2. Heat a frying pan over high heat (preferably a non-stick pan), add oil and turn to medium heat. Pour about 100 grams of potato strips into the pan and use a flat spatula to press them into round cakes about 5 mm thick. Make sure they are compacted. After one side is browned, carefully turn it over. After both sides are browned, sprinkle chopped green onions evenly on both sides. Be sure to press the chopped green onions into the pancake so that it will taste good. Wait until both sides are browned. (After serving, you can choose to pair it with salt and pepper or tomato sauce, but it tastes better without any sauce.)

Method 2

1. Peel and steam the potatoes, mash them, add glutinous rice flour, and stir while adding; if you like sweet, you can add some sugar;

2. When the mixture is ready to be kneaded into cakes, knead them into cakes half a centimeter thick.

3. Heat the oil, put the pancake in and fry until golden brown. You can eat it!

Method 3

1 Wash and peel the potatoes, cut into thin strips, soak in clean water for 10 minutes and drain.

2 Put the drained potato shreds into a small bowl, add appropriate amount of salt and MSG, mix well, and marinate for a while.

3 Drain the marinated potato shreds again, add appropriate amount of dry cornstarch and mix well.

4 Divide the mixed potato shreds into small pancakes.

5 Put a frying pan on the heat, add a small amount of oil, put the potato cakes into the pan and fry until both sides are golden brown.

6 The potato pancakes are now fried and can be served with tomato sauce.
