How to make braised pork and tofu

Tofu puff is made by frying tofu in a pan until it expands, deforms, and bulges. It is a traditional Chinese soy food. Braised pork with tofu puff is a type of braised pork. For some friends who want to add another ingredient to the braised pork to increase and change the taste, tofu puff is the best choice. It is not only an ingredient with high nutritional value, but also has the effect of nourishing blood, nourishing skin, and nourishing the brain. The following are two ways to cook braised tofu puff.

Method 1:

1.Cut the pork belly into pieces.

2. Blanch in boiling water.

3. Cut the tofu into pieces the same size as the pork belly, and fry them in a pan until they become tofu puffs.

4. Add oil to the pot, add garlic and stir-fry, then remove the garlic.

5. Add peppercorns, aniseed and cinnamon.

6. Add scallion segments and ginger slices.

7. Add the pork belly and stir-fry until it changes color, then add sugar, fermented bean curd juice, soy sauce and water.

8. After the water boils, turn to low heat and simmer the meat for ten minutes. Add the previously stir-fried garlic and tofu. Continue to simmer until cooked through. Remove from heat when the sauce is reduced.

9. Add green onions after serving.

Method 2:

1. Cut the pork belly into 3 cm cubes, blanch it in boiling water, remove the blood foam and drain the water;

2. Cut one piece of fried tofu into two halves and set aside;

3. Cut the green onion into sections;

4. Slice ginger[1];

5. Wrap aniseed, cinnamon and cloves in cotton gauze to make small packages;

6. Pour oil into the wok on fire;

7. When the oil is 80% hot, pour in the sugar and stir-fry until it turns brown;

8. Pour in the meat and stir-fry until the sugar color is evenly coated on the meat;

9. Add cooking wine and soy sauce;

10. Pour in hot water, and add the seasoning bag, scallion segments, and ginger slices;

11. Cover the pot and bring to a boil, then simmer over low heat until the meat is 80% cooked;

12. Add tofu foam and salt and continue cooking for half an hour;

13. Wait until the meat is cooked through and the tofu becomes soft and tasty.

Pork ribs (streaky pork): Pork is rich in high-quality protein and essential fatty acids, and provides hemoglobin (organic iron) and cysteine ​​which promotes iron absorption, which can improve iron deficiency anemia; it has the effects of nourishing the kidney and blood, nourishing yin and moistening dryness; but due to the high cholesterol content in pork, obese people and those with high blood lipids should not eat too much.
