7. Then make the water-oil dough. Mix the flour, sugar, egg liquid, lard and water evenly and knead into a smooth and soft dough (depending on the different water absorption of flour, the amount of water needs to be adjusted as appropriate. It must be kneaded into a soft dough and not too dry)

8. Divide the dough into 16 portions, roll each into a ball, and let it rest for half an hour (to prevent the surface of the dough from drying out, cover it with plastic wrap or a damp cloth when leaving it to rest)

9. Then make the puff pastry. Mix the flour and lard and knead until it forms a dough. Divide the kneaded pastry dough into 16 equal portions

10. Take a piece of water-oil dough that has been set aside and flatten it into a round shape.

11. Place the shortcrust dough in the center of the water-oil dough

12. Wrap it up and place it with the seam facing down

13. Use a rolling pin to roll the wrapped dough into an oval shape.

14. After opening, roll it up from top to bottom

15. Rotate the rolled dough 90 degrees and roll it out into an oval shape again (this oval shape will be longer than the first one)

16. Roll up again from top to bottom

17. As shown in the picture, roll up all 16 portions of dough and let them rest for 15 minutes (remember to cover with a damp cloth or plastic wrap)

18. Take a piece of rested dough and roll it into a round shape (try to make it thick in the middle and thin around the edges)

19.Put a piece of glutinous rice filling in the middle of the dough and wrap it up.

20. After wrapping, roll it into a round shape with the seam facing down, and then place it on the baking tray

21. Brush a layer of egg liquid on the surface of the dough

22.Sprinkle some white sesame seeds. Then use a knife to make three cuts on the surface of the dough (you need to cut through the dough). After letting it sit for 15 minutes, put it in a preheated oven at 200 degrees and bake for about 15 minutes until the surface is golden.
