How to make fish and chips

4. Put the French fries in step 2 into 180℃ hot oil, fry for about 4 minutes, then remove and drain the oil.

5. Coat the fish pieces evenly with a thin layer of flour, and then coat them with the batter from step 3.

6. Put the fish pieces from step 5 into the hot oil and fry for about 6-8 minutes until both sides are golden brown. Remove and place on a paper towel to absorb the oil.

7. Add the French fries from step 4 and fry for 2-3 minutes. Remove from the frying pan and place on a paper towel to absorb the oil.

8. Season the fried fish and French fries with salt and black pepper and serve on a plate. Serve with tartar sauce, pea puree (boil frozen peas in boiling water for 3 minutes, remove and mash them while hot) and lemon slices (or white vinegar).
