How to make sweet and sour pork with pineapple

Today I will introduce the recipe of sweet and sour pork with pineapple for those friends who like to cook.

1. Cut the pork tenderloin into 1 cm strips, add a beaten egg, chicken essence, a little cooking wine, salt and pepper, and marinate for ten minutes.

2.1 Add starch to the marinated tenderloin and mix well.

3.2 Prepare the sweet and sour sauce while the marinating time is on. The ratio of water, vinegar, sugar, dark soy sauce and cooking wine is 5:4:3:2:1. Stir well and set aside.

4.1 Heat the oil in a pan until it is 80% hot, add the meat strips and fry until white, then remove from the pan.

5.2 Cut the pineapple into small pieces. I used canned pineapple.

6. Heat the oil pan to 80% again, put the meat strips in again, fry until golden brown and then remove from the pan. This step is very important. The heat must not be too high to avoid overfrying.

7. Leave a little oil in the pan, heat it up, pour in the sweet and sour sauce, add pineapple chunks, cook until bubbling, add the tenderloin. If it’s not sticky enough, add some water starch. Stir-fry evenly and it’s ready to serve. It’s a great dish to go with rice!
