However, green beans are generally more abundant in summer and autumn. Therefore, how to eat green beans all year round is a problem that people are more concerned about, and the quick freezing method can solve this problem. Let’s take a look at the methods of making quick-frozen beans.

In winter, we buy frozen beans. In fact, we can make them ourselves in daily life. If we buy too many beans and cannot finish them, they will rot over time and it would be a pity to throw them away. We can freeze them to preserve them.

Method 1:

1. Buy beans from the market.

2. Remove the two ends and cut into small pieces.

3. Add clean water and rinse thoroughly.

4. Put water in a pot and add appropriate amount of baking soda.

5. Add the beans after the water boils.

6. Cover and simmer for two minutes.

7. Open the lid after stewing.

8. Put the beans into the colander to drain the moisture.

9. After cooling, put the beans into bags.

10. Pack as many bags as you like.

11. Then put it in the refrigerator and freeze it.

12. When you want to eat, just take it out and thaw it.

Note:

1. Adding baking soda will make the beans softer and more colorful.

2. It is best to freeze beans without tendons.

Method 2:

1. First, choose the material. Choose the one without worm holes and flat without bulging. You can judge by pinching it with your hands. The ones that are firm and inelastic are good. The ones that sink when you pinch them are not fresh, so don't choose them. When washing the beans, pinch off the head and tail and break them into small pieces.

2. Bring water to a boil in a pot, pour in the washed beans and blanch for 1-2 minutes, stir, and immediately pour into cold water to cool down.

3. Take out the cooled beans and place them in a cool place to dry, or blow them with a fan or in an air-conditioned environment.

4. Put the dried beans into small sealed bags and place them in the freezer of the refrigerator.

5. The frozen beans can be taken out when eaten. Eat in moderation and do not take them out to thaw and then put them back into the freezer, as this will affect the taste and may even cause them to deteriorate.
