Many people like to eat potatoes. Potatoes can be cooked in many different ways. It can be eaten as a stew, used as bun filling, or simply made into some potato chips, all of which are very delicious and go well with rice. In addition to these potatoes can also be used as snacks. Potatoes can be fried to make potato chips. It tastes fragrant and crispy and is very delicious. Next, let’s learn how to fry potato chips at home.

Method 1

Buy a frying basket, pour the raw French fries into it, and the oil temperature for frying the French fries should be around 170 degrees. Since the French fries are frozen, when the French fries are fried for about 1 minute and 30 seconds, lift the frying basket out of the oil, shake it about 5 times, and then put it back into the oil pan to fry for 2 minutes. Then drain the oil, put the French fries into a container, sprinkle salt from high altitude, and then pour the French fries from one container to another repeatedly in a waterfall-like method for 3-4 times. The French fries are ready. But the oil used in fast food restaurants is palm oil, not the cooking oil you use at home.

Method 2

Choose large potatoes with golden flesh, wash and peel them, cut them into strips of about 8 x 8 mm, and soak the strips in salt water for an hour. After it has absorbed the flavor, take it out and dry it. Remove the water, fry over medium heat until cooked, remove from the oil, heat the oil again, put the French fries in and fry until crispy, then remove from the frying oil. Note: Don't put too many potato strips in, because they will stick together. Prepare a round-bottomed pan and half a spherical colander. The oil for frying French fries can be soybean oil or peanut oil, and it is best to use purified fragrant oil. Using scented oil can preserve the original flavor of potatoes. When frying French fries, the oil should not be too hot, as this will cause the fries to burn; nor should it be too warm, as this will cause the fries to become hard. Take a chopstick and insert it vertically into the bottom of the pot. When bubbles and oil flow upward along the chopstick, the oil temperature is just right. There’s a trick to frying French fries: fry them and rise them at the same time. Put them all together when frying, just cover the entire surface of the pan. It is better to have less rather than more, so that every French fry is soaked in it, and it is also easier to control the heat. When the French fries turn golden brown and can be scooped out, you must move quickly, otherwise they will be over-fried with black heads and black faces. Then scoop it out with a strainer. French fries can be eaten with sesame pepper salt or ketchup, or they have a unique flavor when eaten alone. Sesame and pepper salt is easy to make. Grind sesame seeds and peppercorns with a coffee grinder, fry them with coarse salt grains, and put them into a wooden pepper shaker after they become powder. You can use them at any time. Tomato sauce is also available.

Method 3

1. Use large potatoes. 2. Put the potato strips into a pot, add water to cover, bring to a boil over medium heat, then simmer over low heat for 5 minutes, or until half cooked. If they are fully cooked, the potato strips will become mushy and will not fry well. 3. Drain the potato strips and let them cool. 4. Add oil to a frying pan and heat over medium heat. When the oil temperature reaches 130 degrees, you can put in the potato strips, carefully one by one [remember not to put them in all at once] 5. Turn down the heat slightly and try to keep the oil temperature at around 130 degrees. Gently flip the potatoes over and fry the other side, making sure both sides are cooked through, about 6 minutes per side. When the potatoes are done, they should be crispy and golden brown. Scoop them into a plate lined with oil-absorbing paper to strain the oil 7. Sprinkle with table salt. It's ready to eat.

Method 4

1. Cut the potatoes into strips. 2. Add hot water and salt into a pot, bring to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes. 3. Drain the water. 4. When the oil temperature reaches the highest, pour it directly into the pan and fry until it turns golden brown and then take it out. 5. Serve with ketchup or salad dressing.
