How to make scallion flower rolls

Scallion-flavored steamed buns are a common pasta dish. The finished steamed buns have a strong scallion flavor and taste great. Many people prefer to eat scallion-flavored steamed buns. The method is relatively simple. You need to ferment the flour and then make it into the shape of a flower roll. Add chopped green onions and brush it with a certain amount of vegetable oil. You can twist the flower roll into various styles according to your usual habits.

Method 1

Ingredients : 250g all-purpose flour, 140g warm water, 3g yeast, 15g sugar, 5g vegetable oil, pepper powder, salt, and a little vegetable oil. Method: 1. Stir the yeast and water evenly, then mix with flour, sugar, and oil to form a smooth dough. Cover with plastic wrap and let it relax at room temperature for 10 minutes. 2. Roll the dough into a rectangular thin sheet, brush a layer of oil on the dough, sprinkle a little salt and pepper powder, roll it into long strips and flatten it slightly. Cut into 16 pieces. Take two pieces and overlap them, press down from the middle with chopsticks, then turn the two ends down and pinch them tightly. 3. Place the prepared steamed buns on the steamer, add water to the steamer and bring it to warm, then turn off the heat, put in the steamed buns, cover and ferment for 20-25 minutes, then turn on the heat again and steam for 10 minutes after the water boils. Turn off the heat and take out after 5 minutes.

Method 2

Ingredients: 400g medium-gluten flour, 207g water, 3g yeast. Auxiliary ingredients: shallot, vegetable oil, salt. Please pay attention to this extra step - put a handful of chopped shallot in a stainless steel spoon, pour in appropriate amount of oil and heat it directly on the fire until a strong smell of scallion oil appears and the chopped shallot changes color slightly. Cool and set aside. Method: 1. Stir the yeast and appropriate amount of water to dissolve in advance (the water is in the 207g) 2. Mix the water and flour into a dough and let it rise until the dough becomes a honeycomb shape when pulled apart. Observe carefully! 3. Add appropriate amount of dry powder to the dough and knead it thoroughly to expel the air inside. 4. Roll the dough into a sheet with a thickness of about 3-4mm. 5. Pour scallion oil on it and spread it evenly. Then sprinkle fine salt and chopped green onions evenly in turn. 6. Roll up the dough, about 50-60g each, and cut it into knife-cut steamed buns. 7. Use chopsticks to press down a little in the middle as shown in the picture, and pinch the two ends down together! 8. After all are put into the steamer, let it rise for 20 minutes. 9. Turn to medium-low heat after the steam comes up. The whole process takes 20 minutes. 10. After turning off the heat, steam it for 4 minutes, open the lid and take out!

Method 3

Ingredients [Main ingredient] 300g medium-gluten flour [Supplementary ingredients] Appropriate amounts of sesame oil, salt, and shallots, 3g yeast powder, 5g granulated sugar, 150ml warm water. Method 1. Pour all the flour, granulated sugar and baking powder into a bowl and mix well. Add some warm water and stir until it becomes floc-like, then knead it into dough and let it rest for 5 minutes. 2. Wash and cut the green onions into chopped green onions, add appropriate amount of sesame oil and mix well. 3. Knead the dough again until it is smooth and fine, and let it rest for another 5 minutes. 4. Place the dough that has been proofed on a panel and roll it into a rectangular sheet. 5. Sprinkle a layer of salt and then sprinkle with chopped green onions. 6. Roll up the dough and cut into small pieces of even size. 7. Stack 2 pieces of dough together and twist them into rolls. 8. If you want to let it rise for the second time for 20 minutes, bring the pot to a boil over high heat, then switch to medium heat and steam for 15 minutes. Turn off the heat and continue to simmer in the pot for 3 minutes. Tips 1: If you don’t have sesame oil, you can also mix the chopped green onions with salad oil, but sesame oil will enhance the flavor. 2.
