How to make delicious vegetable stuffing

Vegetable steamed buns are a kind of pasta that many people like to eat. In Chinese breakfast, vegetable steamed buns can be regarded as a star food. Vegetable buns are generally made of vegetables, such as cabbage, leeks, tofu, etc., which can all be used to make vegetable buns. If you want to make delicious vegetable buns, you must prepare the fillings well, and mixing the fillings also requires certain skills. So, how can we make the filling of vegetable buns more delicious?

1. Add some oil when mixing vegetarian fillings

The biggest problem with vegetable fillings is that they easily release water. After chopping the vegetables, pour in a little cooking oil and mix the vegetables and the cooking oil evenly so that the surface of the vegetables is covered with a layer of oil film. This way, water will not release so easily. After adding cooking oil and mixing well, add other seasonings and mix well. Finally, add salt and mix well before you start wrapping. Remember to add salt before wrapping.

We can also fry salt and egg liquid together into egg crumbs, then add the scrambled egg crumbs into the filling and mix well. This will make it less likely for the vegetables to release water.

2. Fry the chopped green onion and ginger for the vegetarian stuffing until fragrant

Most people will directly add chopped green onion and ginger when mixing vegetarian fillings, but if you put the chopped green onion and ginger in pepper oil, fry them over low heat until fragrant and then add them to the fillings, the vegetarian filling will be more fragrant and flavorful. The oil from frying can replace the cooking oil in the first point, but it must be cooled before being used to mix the fillings.

3. Add some egg white to the vegetarian filling

Egg white can act as a binder in vegetarian fillings, because vegetarian fillings are generally easy to spread out. If you add some egg white and mix well, the filling will have a certain viscosity and will no longer easily spread out. The egg white should be added before the cooking oil. After adding other seasonings and mixing well, you can add the egg white.

4. Dried shrimp and pepper noodles are essential for vegetarian stuffing

Adding a little dried shrimp when mixing vegetarian fillings can have an unexpected effect in enhancing the flavor. The dried shrimp can be washed with water, chopped and added to the stuffing and mixed well. It is better to stir-fry it with a little oil on low heat until fragrant before using it to mix the stuffing. Sichuan pepper powder can enhance the flavor of vegetarian fillings very well, but if you use Sichuan pepper oil, you don’t have to add Sichuan pepper powder.
