Leeks are often referred to as aphrodisiac herbs by male friends; however, whether they actually have an aphrodisiac effect still needs to be based on medical research. In fact, it has many other names. Indeed, it has many nutrients, including multiple vitamins, carotene, carbohydrates and minerals. Leeks are also rich in fiber, with every 100 grams of leeks containing 1.5 grams of fiber, which is higher than onions and celery. It can promote intestinal motility and prevent the occurrence of colorectal cancer. At the same time, it can reduce the absorption of cholesterol and play a role in preventing and treating diseases such as arteriosclerosis and coronary heart disease. It is best to control it to 100~200g per meal, not more than 400g.
