How to make strawberry cream cake

2.1 Smooth the cake base: First, fill the top of the cake with cream, as much as possible, then turn the turntable while using a spatula to smooth the cream from the middle to the left and right, covering the entire top of the cake. When smoothing the top, some of the cream hangs on the side, use the cream hanging on the side to cover the cake base on the side. The spatula is held upright and pushed back and forth while the turntable rotates. One side of the knife is against the cake, so that when the turntable is turned, the edge of the spatula can be kept neat. This is the first round. It doesn't need to be very even, as long as the surface and sides are evenly covered with cream.

3.2 Cut the cake into two halves horizontally, clean up the cake crumbs, then spread the cream on a layer of cake slice, just a thin layer, and place the cherry filling. Cover with another cake slice

4.1 Next is the second round of the top. Hold the knife horizontally, with one edge of the knife against the cake surface and the other edge tilted toward you, basically at an angle of about 30 degrees. From the outside to the inside, cut across the entire surface of the cake and scrape the top flat. If you are still not satisfied, continue to smoothen the cake for the third and fourth times. Generally, the whole cake can be smoothed within four times.

5.2 Then start trimming the side of the second wheel. The knife is perpendicular to the cake and held vertically, with the tip of the knife almost touching the turntable, but just touching it without pushing hard. If you push the turntable too hard, it will stop turning. One edge of the knife gently touches the cream on the side of the cake, and the other edge faces you at an angle of about 30 degrees. Turn the turntable with one hand, and hold the knife with the other hand to stick it tightly to the side of the cake cream. If there is any uneven area, press it a little harder, and make the area where the knife is turned smooth by the contact area between the knife and the cream.

6. After smoothing, insert a knife from the bottom of the cake, move the cake to a flat plate or paper tray that comes with the cake box, and then decorate it as follows

7. Put a round nozzle (about 1cm in diameter) into the piping bag, then fill it with cream. Squeeze a circle of larger balls (about 3.5-4cm in diameter) around the top of the cake, put a layer of strawberries on the inner layer, sprinkle some dark chocolate chips in the center, and finally sprinkle some powdered sugar on the top and some coconut shreds on the bottom edge for decoration.
