1. Separate egg white and egg yolk. Put the egg whites into an oil-free and water-free container, add white sugar three times, and beat until wet foam forms (when you lift the whisk, the egg whites can be pulled into curved corners, which means it is wet foam).

2.1 Add salad oil and mix well; add milk and mix well; add a few drops of vanilla extract and mix well.

3.2 Add salt to the egg yolks and mix well with a whisk at low speed.

4.121 Take 1/3 of the whipped egg whites and add them into the egg yolk paste.

5.212 Mix the low-gluten flour, corn flour and baking powder, sift them into the egg yolk paste, and stir evenly with a rubber spatula.

6. Use a rubber spatula to stir evenly.

7. Pour all the mixed batter into the remaining egg whites and stir evenly.

8. Line the baking tray with baking paper, pour in the batter, smooth it with a spatula, and gently shake it a few times to remove the large bubbles.

9. Preheat the oven to 150°C, middle layer, for 30-35 minutes.

10. After taking it out of the oven, turn it upside down on the baking rack and tear off the baking paper on the bottom while it is still hot.

11. Place the cake flat on a panel, front side up, and spread applesauce (or other jam of your choice).

12. Use your hands to roll up the cake slices into a cake roll.

13. Wrap it with baking paper and tighten the ends.

14. Let cool and then cut into slices.
