How to make kimchi fried vermicelli

1. Prepare the necessary ingredients. The main ingredient is vermicelli. I chose two small bundles of Longkou vermicelli (available in supermarkets). The side ingredient is Green Deer brand bagged kimchi, which is very convenient!

2. Cut off the string that ties the Longkou vermicelli and soak it in clean water until soft and set aside.

3. Open the bag of kimchi and put it on a plate for later use.

4. After the vermicelli is softened, take it out and cut it into several pieces with scissors. Drain the water and set aside.

5. Pour an appropriate amount of cooking oil into the pot. Since vermicelli consumes a lot of oil, pour more oil on top of the usual amount. When the oil is 70% to 80% hot, add the minced garlic and stir-fry.

6. Continue to add vermicelli and stir-fry. Remember to stir-fry without using chopsticks to prevent the vermicelli from sticking to the pan. Then add appropriate amount of salt.

7. Add kimchi and continue to stir-fry. Add appropriate amount of soy sauce to adjust the color before serving.

8. Serve on a plate and a simple and delicious dish of kimchi fried vermicelli is ready.
